About Dan

We are a local mortgage company that serves many loyal clients, and I needed a space to inform and educate these loyal folks on what is happening now, in our neighborhoods and our lending world. My core principle is to serve, educate, and motivate my clients, friends & family, and my referral partners.

This blog will be just another tool for me to reach out even more, to expand my horizons in the social media world, and continue to grow as a mortgage lender..I hope this website becomes your gateway through a very complex industry, and will enable you to remove the mysterious magic curtain we call a mortgage. I want you armed with pertinent and local information so you can complete your purchase or refinance with confidence.

Feel free to take a look around, pass on the articles that you like, and most of all – have fun, don’t be shy and please feel free to make comments. I read them all and would love your opinion.

To protect my Company from my “soap box’ ranting, I do need to state that my views expressed in this blog are mine and mine alone, and not those of Guild Mortgage, nor any person or organization affiliated or doing business with Guild Mortgage *..

All my best,

Dan Tharp
